HOPEDALE — Water board approves $35,000 emergency well repair funding. The Hopedale Board of Water & Sewer Commissioners unanimously authorized the additional expenditure from emergency retained earnings to repair bedrock well #2, which requires pump motor and casing replacement and has been inactive. Chairperson Ed Burt, Commissioner James Morin, and Commissioner Adam Anderson also unanimously approved vacation carryover requests for employees Stephen Salvucci and Sandra Holland.

The board discussed unaccounted water loss at 75 Plain Street and a past-due bill from tenant Beyond Full at the old town building, with Town Administrator Mitch Ruscitti deferring collection matters to counsel.
