Hopedale Select Board unanimously approves two police officer appointments and clerical union contract. Chair Scott Savage, Bernard Stock, and Glenda Hazard voted to appoint Patrick Macdonald and Jalen Basquiat as full-time officers effective March 30, 2026, filling a vacancy left by the resignation of Patrolman Michael Giovanella. The board also unanimously signed the Hopedale Clerical Union MOA and accepted a $119,371.81 donation to the Legal Donation Fund.
The Annual Town Meeting warrant will open May 19 and close April 27.
