Hopedale Planning Board unanimously approves 850-square-foot accessory dwelling unit at 194 Dutcher Street. John Canty of Canty Brothers Construction presented site plans for a one-story addition that meets 60 percent open space, 10-yard side-yard setback, and all other RA-zoning requirements under Section 18.5 of the Zoning Bylaws. Chair Stephen Chaplin was authorized to draft and sign the decision.
The board also continued a hearing on an ADU application at 201 Dutcher Street to March 4, 2026, after the applicant failed to appear or submit supplemental information. A performance bond discussion for 75 Plain Street was continued to the same date, with Chaplin abstaining.
