Hopedale Library Board approved Statue of Hope restoration after securing CPC funding. Daedalus Conservation assessed the sculpture at roughly $32,000 in repairs needed to address mortar, cracks, and damaged marble; the Community Preservation Committee voted on August 28th to fund $16,000, with the library committing its existing $16,000, enabling the full repair project. The board also voted unanimously to reallocate $6,000 from a fire alert system upgrade toward outdoor lighting work totaling about $1,400, completed by Paul D'Alio and funded with State Aid.

August circulation showed 4 percent year-over-year growth, with Overdrive electronic checkouts up 16 percent overall and 39 percent for CPC-related items, though print periodicals fell 44 percent.
