Hopedale Select Board reelected Glenda Hazard as Chair and approved the Larry Olsen 5K for August 15, 2026. Ms. Hazard was elected 2-0 with one abstention; the 5K was approved unanimously.
The board also voted unanimously to send a formal response to two Open Meeting Law complaints filed over candidate names omitted from April agendas. Town Administrator Mitchell Ruscitti offered to conduct Open Meeting Law training for board and committee members. Town Park work continues toward a mid-August completion, and the board entered Executive Session to discuss litigation strategy in three civil matters.
