Hopedale Cultural Council approves minutes and budgets for summer events. All six members attended the May 11 meeting at the Draper Room. The council voted unanimously to accept the March 16 secretary's minutes and the treasurer's report, which showed the Friends of HCC account at $7,959.63.
Band concerts will run June through July at the Community House, featuring DJ Mike and live acts. Day in the Park is set for September 19 with a 250th Birthday theme, entertainment acts including Rainforest Reptiles and Karate DoJo, and approximately 13 vendor applications already received. The council has selected a scholarship candidate for Hopedale High School.
