HOPEDALE — Conservation Commission continues Kings Way development hearing and resolves historic compliance issues. Chair Michele LaReau-Alves and members David Guglielmi, Scott Ellis, and Bernard Stock unanimously continued the Notice of Intent for a 1.42-acre single-family house in a wetland buffer zone to April 21, 2026, following public abutters' concerns over erosion control, water impacts, and blasting. The board issued a Certificate of Compliance for 11 Heron Lane's 2002 order and unanimously voted to request Select Board legal counsel to resolve missing documents from a 2016 amended Order of Condition at 10 Charlesview Road.
The commission also approved a five-year renewal for Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority herbicide spraying on Charles River railbeds.
