HOPEDALE — Conservation Commission continued public hearing on South Main Street wetlands determination. Chair Michele LaReau-Alves and members Walter Swift, David Guglielmi, Scott Ellis, and Morris Kromah voted unanimously to adjourn the hearing pending a site visit for the 304-306 South Main Street property, a 0.46-acre parcel with a duplex. Consultant Curtis Waisgerber reported that one isolated vegetated wetland was identified within 100 feet of the site but is non-jurisdictional because the town maintains no local bylaw extending protection to isolated wetlands.
The Commission also discussed a fee waiver for an After the Fact Notice of Intent filed for 10 Charlesview, where work was completed in 2015 but original records were lost.
