HOPEDALE — Conservation Commission approves negative wetland determination for South Main Street property. The board voted 3-1-1 to find that 304-306 South Main Street does not fall under Hopedale's wetland jurisdiction after Wetland Scientist Curtis Waisgerber from Goddard Consulting investigated a sewer grate on the property. Waisgerber's research, which included interviews with the homeowner, the septic company, and the Hopedale Water and Highway Department, found no evidence of drainage piping or water flow.
Walter Swift's motion to approve the negative determination passed with David Guglielmi voting against and Scott Ellis abstaining.
