HOPEDALE — Conservation Commission issues compliance certificate for 86 Plain Street and continues contested Overdale Parkway hearing. Chair Michele LaReau-Alves and all five members present voted unanimously to approve the 86 Plain Street certificate after a June 4 site visit found substantial compliance. The Overdale Parkway continuation, featuring public objections from residents Pat and Mike Hill regarding water flow impacts to their property, will proceed pending a hydrology report from Goddard Consulting and Board of Health consultation.
The commission also unanimously recommended a positive determination for the Grafton and Upton Railroad RDA application, excluding herbicide spraying from a sensitive area on Freedom Street near parklands.
