Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 6, 2026

Hopedale Conservation Commission processes multiple property orders while approving Heron Lane compliance. The Commission granted a Certificate of Compliance for an Order of Condition at 11 Heron Lane originally issued in 2002, after Chair Michele LaReau-Alves and member David Guglielmi verified compliance during a March 20 site visit. The Commission continued review of a proposed single-family development at Lot 4, Kings Way to April 21, 2026, after abutters raised concerns about erosion control and blasting impacts.

The 1.42-acre project, presented by D & L Design Group for owners Caroline Porter and Reed Phillips, would include construction within the 100-foot buffer of a bordering vegetated wetland. The Commission also voted unanimously to seek Select Board legal counsel regarding missing documentation for an Order of Condition at 10 Charlesview Road.
