Board of Health approves well driller fee waiver for park irrigation project

Hopedale Board of Health unanimously approved a fee waiver for T.J. Ogden Company, Inc. to install an irrigation well at the park. Chair Mary Watson, along with members Jason MacDonald and Walter Swift, also approved prior meeting minutes and addressed public inquiries into Health Agent William Fisher's hours, clarifying that Fisher works 16 hours per week with additional emergency and event-based hours funded separately.

The board reached consensus to participate in a rain barrel initiative that will cost approximately 7,000 dollars through the water and sewer department's emergency reserve fund.
