Board of Health approves two fee schedules for fiscal 2027

Board of Health · Meeting of March 19, 2026

Hopedale Board of Health unanimously approved the FY2027 Annual Permit Fee Schedule and the Recycle Center Fee Schedule, which reflected no changes from the prior year. Chair Mary Watson reported that she has been working with the Finance Committee on the Board of Health's FY2027 budget proposal but has received no word from the Town Administrator regarding what budget he plans to present for the board. Health Agent William Fisher reported that COVID, RSV, and flu cases are all declining, and addressed issues including a well driller permit request seeking a fee waiver for a town-property project, silverware presentation standards at the school cafeteria, and an overflowing dumpster at Hopedale Manor.

The board tabled a groundwater protection dispute regarding 201 Hopedale Street to its April 16 meeting.
